Dandelion after the rain…
… and under the
sun
Dandelion (Taraxacum) is a very common
plant which interesting properties are not always well known. Its name comes
from the French name of this plant, dent-de
lion, meaning
"lion's tooth”, as a
reference to the form of the leaves.
This flower is the emblem of a famous French editor. Young
pupils used to receive their first dictionary Larousse when entering secondary school. Mine
is dated 1970:
