Along the slope of the Black Mountain, there are many
herds of cows for meat production. It’s a natural system where calves are fed
with the milk of their mother and then with grass.
The most common breed in the region is called Blonde d’Aquitaine.
Bulls, cows and calves enjoy years of peaceful
pastures and the meat, available in the shops around, is delicious.
