Ils se sont élancés du haut d’une des montagnes de la vallée et glissent sans bruit dans le ciel, apparaissant et disparaissant tour à tour entre les branches de la cime de l’épicéa devant notre maison.

They just jumped from the top of one mountain of the valley and fly free in the blue sky. Through the top of our evergreen Norway spruce in front of the house, I can see them playing with the wind.

Nice walk up to the top or even higher

From the cottage, after two hours of a nice walk between high pine trees you can reach the plateau called « Saint Férréol desert ».

It is a karst with small vegetation from where you can see far away across the Black mountain.

Included into the Natura 2000 area, you can discover numerous small animals, among other beautiful butterfly and the small “Capelette”.

Those practicing paragliding use this summit to run into the air.
